Honolulu, HI- The season has concluded. The Swords, who sported their youngest roster in Coach Mahar’s five year tenure at the helm, finished the season winning three of their last four, all on the road as Chaminade concluded the season at 10-15. Four of those losses came to NCAA Division I programs.

PHOENIX, AZ – Chaminade’s Matt Cousins (Santa Rosa, CA/Cardinal Newman) was honored for his efforts this past week on a three game road trip in Northern California. Cousins averaged 17.3 points and 8.3 rebounds while shooting 73.1% (19 for 26) from the floor in a 2-1 week for the Silverswords. In last week’s honor roll, Chaminade freshman guard, Dominique Cooks, was honored by the conference office.

San Francisco, CA- The Swords took a close game early and opened it up for a 74-39 win over the Urban Knights. Academy of Art came out ready to go early, leading 14-13 with 6:48 to go in the opening twenty minutes. Chaminade responded with a 16-2 run to close the half, led by three three-pointers by Shane Hanson to go into the break up 29-16.
