Chaminade Cross Country Concludes Season at NCAA West Regionals

Men 16th, Women 23rd

San Diego, CA- Garrett Prinslow (64th) led the Chaminade men at the NCAA West Regionals, finishing with a 36:38 in the 10K event.

 

Tyler Pickle was the Swords next best finisher, placing 73rd with a 37:18. 

 

On the women's side, CUH was led by Rachel Martin (134th) with a time of 27:30 in the women's 6K.

 

The meet involved forty-two teams, 24 women's teams and 18 on the men's side.   Chico State nearly swept both the individual and the team titles for both the men and women.  The Wildcats Scott Bauhs won the race for the men, with a time of 32:15 in the 10K.  Chico State won the men's team title as well.  The Wildcats won the team title on the women's side, but Jessica Pixler of Seattle Pixler broke up the clean sweep, placing 1st in the 6k with a time of 20:57.    

 

The NCAA Division II West Regionals concluded the Swords season.
