CUH XC: Chaminade Cross Country Competes at UH-Hilo Invitational

Men 5th, Women 5th

Hilo, HI- John Hansen (Fairfield, CT/Mt. Bachelor) led the Chaminade men today at the UH-Hilo Invitational, finishing with in 14th place with a 22:22 in the 6K event.

 

Garrett Prinslow (Kailua-Kona, HI/Kealekehe) was the Swords next best finisher, placing 19th with a 22:48. 

 

On the women's side, CUH was led by Rachel Martin (25th) with a time of 31:16 in the women's 6K.

 

The Seasiders Spencer Davila won the race for the men, with a time of 20:45 in the 10K.  BYU-Hawaii won the men's team title as well.  The Seasiders also won the team title on the women's side, but Quinn Horochuk of Hawaii Pacific broke up the clean sweep, placing 1st in the 6k with a time of 25:34.   

 

The Swords are back in action next week at the BYU-Hawaii Invitational in Laie, HI.  The meet starts at 8AM HT.
