Honolulu, HI- Chaminade took on the Urban Knights of Academy of Art today in a Pac West conference match-up and fell 1-0. Aubrey Williams scored the lone goal in the 79th minute for the Urban Knights.
The game was scoreless throughout the first half and well into the second before Williams tally gave AAU the lead. The Swords did not stop competing, as CUH put two shots on goal on the match.
Marissa Minor (Captain Cook, HI/Konawaena) stopped 10 shots for CUH. Marissa Faye (Waimea, HI/Hawaii Prep) got off two shots (one shot on goal) for the Swords. Chaminade also earned two corner kicks on the match.
The Swords were out-shot 21-6.
With the loss, the Swords move to (0-14). Academy of Art moves to 2-13-2. Chaminade is back in action at home on November 3rd against HPU. The game is set for 10:00 AM HT.
