San Francisco, CA- The 2009 Hawaiian Airline Pac West Championships were held today at Golden Gate Park.
Garrett Prinslow (Kailua-Kona, HI/Kealekehe) was the Swords best finisher on the men's side, placing 26th with a 28:27 in the 8K event.
On the women's side, CUH was led by Rachel Martin (Waimea, HI/Waimea) in 26th place with a time of 22:15 in the women's 5K.
The Urban Knights Amos Maru won the race for the men, with a time of 25:17 in the 8K. Academy of Art won the men's team title as well. The BYU-Hawaii Seasiders won the team title on the women's side. Quinn Horochuk took the women's individual title for Hawaii Pacific with a time of 18:53 in the 5K event.
The Swords are back in action next week at the NCAA West Regionals in San Francisco, CA.
