Honolulu, HI- Chaminade took on the Sea Warriors of Hawaii Pacific this afternoon and fell, 5-0.
The final score did not reflect the competitiveness of this Pac West conference matchup, as the Swords were down 1-0 most of the way, as HPU tallied their second goal in the 65th minute. The Sea Warriors got going offensively from that point forward, scoring four goals in the final twenty-five minutes. Ikaika Fuerte had 3 assists for HPU.
Chad Thompson (Waimea, HI/Waimea) took 3 shots for CUH. Daniel Dartt (Leilehua, HI/Leilehua) stopped four shots for the Swords. Chaminade lost the shot total 16-9.
With the loss, Chaminade moves to 3-12. HPU improves to 11-2-2. Chaminade is set to play another Pac West conference match on November 5th against BYU-Hawaii. Kickoff is set for 12:00 PM HT at St. Louis Field.
