Kualoa Ranch, HI- The Swords herriers are back in action. Sophomore Garrett Prinslow led the way, turning in a time of 27:05, good for 17th place, while junior John Hansen ran a 28:05 to finish in 22nd place for CUH.
Chaminade finished 6th in the team standings on the men's side. Humboldt State took the team win for the men, while BYU-Hawaii's Brendan McMaster won the individual honors with a 24:52.
On the women's side, Ashlie Salas-Selem led the way for CUH, turning in a time of 21:55, finishing in 36th place. Senior Rachel Martin was the next best Silversword runner, placing 43rd. The Chaminade women finished in 7th place on the women's side. Humboldt State made it a clean sweep of team titles as the Lumberjack women won as well. Theresia Schnurr of Alaska Fairbanks took individual honors, taking first with a time of 17:58.
The Swords are back in action on September 19th to participate in the UH Big Wave Invitational at the Kaneohe Marine Corps Air Station in Kaneohe, HI.
