Manoa, HI- Chaminade’s Women’s Tennis Team defeated #32 Bloomsburg (PA) 6-3 today at UH-Manoa.
Chaminade’s Yuka Kondo and Tiffany DeVincent won impressive matches in #1 and #2 singles respectively. Kondo won 6-2, 6-3 over Bloomsburg’s Katie Hasyn, while DeVincent defeated Allison Carney 6-1, 6-4. Bloomsburg won #3, #4, and #5 singles, while Karen Chaussoy won at #6 singles (6-1, 6-4) for CUH. The Swords took all three doubles matches in the win.
Chaminade improves to 5-4 with the win. The Swords will be back in action for a match with BYU-Hawaii on March 15th. Match time is set for 1:30 PM HT at Central Oahu Regional Park.
