SEATTLE, WA- Chaminade fell to the Falcons of Seattle Pacific 79-65 in the first of two games for the Swords at the SPU Invitational.
The Swords struggled shooting the ball, shooting 35% from the floor and 20% from three. SPU shot a blistering 50% from the arc, and 47% from the floor, with Jeff Downs going 7-10 en route to 23 points.

Steven Bennett had 20 points, while junior
Mamadou Diarra added 13 points and 10 rebounds to go with 3 blocks. Senior
Rickey Clayborn added 14 points and 7 rebounds off the bench in 17 minutes.
The Falcons led the assist battle 24-9 and out-rebounded CUH 43-36.
Chaminade is back in action at 5PM PT tomorrow at Brougham Pavilion on the Seattle Pacific campus against undefeated and #24 nationally ranked Central Washington.
