Honolulu, HI- Attention Swords Fans! Please join us in providing awareness and support to fight breast cancer. The Chaminade University Athletics Department will be selling pink plastic wristbands for $2 at the women’s and men’s basketball games on February 16th against Dixie State.
The women play at 5:30pm HT followed by the men at 7:30pm. Net proceeds from the wristbands will go to the WBCA's charity of choice - the Kay Yow/WBCA Cancer Fund. Bracelets can be purchased at both games or from the Chaminade University athletics office on the day of the games.
Last year’s breast cancer awareness drive raised $1.3 million dollars. Let’s do our part to help beat that total in 2010! All attending are also encouraged to wear pink.
