Belmont, CA- The Swords took their second game in a row tonight, 56-43 over NDNU at Gleason Gym.
The Swords were stellar defensively, holding the Argos to 34% shooting and only 43 points. All ten Chaminade players saw action, with junior forward Shane Hanson leading the way with 16 points, Steven Bennett added 15 points and 5 assists, while Matt Cousins added 11 points and 8 rebounds in the win.
Chandler Pearson added 7 rebounds and Zach Johnson pitched in 4 points and 5 rebounds. The Swords shot 42% from the floor and 78% from the FT line.
Chaminade out-rebounded NDNU 35-27.
Trent Henwood led the Argos with 13 points.
Chaminade improves to 9-14, 6-8 in the Pac West. NDNU falls to 4-22, 2-13 in Pac West play. CUH is back in action on March 6th at Dominican (CA). Game time is set for 7:30 PM PT.
